Te Rauparaha Arena
Te Rauparaha Arena is located in the heart of Porirua's central business district, and is managed by Porirua City Council. It is adjacent to Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures, and the Porirua Library where you can visit our latest exhibitions, or have a coffee. Free parking is provided in our carpark and all facilities are family-friendly.
Te Rauparaha Arena provides a range of facilities:
- Main Gymnasium (2,495 sq metres)
- Secondary Gymnasium (857 sq metres)
- Meeting Room Spaces (2 x 44 sq metres)
- Dance Studio (sprung floor)
- Theatre (seats 80)
All facilities are fitted with air-conditioning and excellent lighting. The gymnasium spaces have ceiling mounted heating and full audio capabilities. Our preferred suppliers will provide you with any additional services you may require.
The Arena also provides quality programmes with our National award winning Holiday Programme, Gymnastics and preschool programmes and also inter-primary school competitions.
